That possibility as been mentioned several times on this forum but thus far no one seems able to provide any information as to how to go about it.
It would require an enormous fundraising drive.
If you think Presidential campaigns raise what 1 billion I think its highly unlikely that it could raise the right amount of money. The fundraising campaigns are extremely sophisticated. Republicans are better off putting more supporters of their cause into office and donating to groups that support their agenda. In my humble opinion...
