Kavanaugh will help decide Trump admin cases with BLUE states
The National Sentinel ^ | 10/8/18 | USA Features

Last Laugh: Now that Justice Brett Kavanaugh has taken his rightful place as the newest Supreme Court member, he’ll be involved in decided several cases involving the Trump administration’s many legal battles with deep blue states.

Included in those cases are emissions standards and various environmental issues, illegal immigration, and the Internet.

While ‘abortion’ isn’t on that list (yet), gun rights, religious rights, and other ‘thorny’ issues are bound to come up as well, and the court’s constitutionalist make-up means that the winner will be our small ‘r’ republican form of government bequeathed to us by our founders.

Let’s hope that he long remembers how they savaged him and his family.

He should be helpful in reversing lower court rulings in cases brought by that worthless sack of crap Jeff Sessions who seems to lose every case he has argued before the court.

I certainly hope the BK will be well to the right of Roberts in being a Constitutional Conservative.

Robert’s performance has been too close to that of Kennedy to date.

And I am betting he is feeling a lot less ‘liberal’ these days.

Texas needs a SNAP session of its legislature to pass a HARD-CORE Voter ID law...let the left appeal...to OUR Supreme Court!

I PERSONALLY know highly-compensated people (in the tech field) who simply WILL NOT move to a Blue State since it means both the loss of their gun rights and their exposure to prosecution even if they try to comply with the draconian laws.

There is already a major PENALTY that Blue States are paying for their gun laws and, sadly, a downside of Kavanaugh is that the penalty just may go away, as ALL states, soon, will have to comply with the Second Amendment, not just Red States.

Democrats better hope BK is a fairer person then I am....I never forget, and I almost always get my revenge - I guess I wouldn’t be a good SC justice.

According to NYPost do not forget “mama bears” women who supported Kavanaugh and fear this could happen to their sons.

I cannot wait for the 2nd Amendment to be enforced as intended - which is to say, nationwide. Why someone can legally own a metal box with a spring inside of it on one side of a line on a map within the US, and be a criminal on the other side with the exact same item is beyond me - and I AM a lawyer. It seems to me that the BOR (and the entire Constitution, for that matter) apply to everyone, everywhere, and across all time periods - or they apply to no one, nowhere and never. There is no picking and choosing, like a Chinese menu.

I’d like to start with the repeal of the 1934 NFA - which is blatantly unconstitutional, esp. since the fed.gov violated its 1939 claim (in U.S. v. Miller) that there was no ban in the NFA on machine guns, only regulation of them via taxes...yet in 1986 the law was changed (Title 18, Section 922(o)) to forbid the BATF from collecting the $200 for the tax stamp necessary to “regulate” full autos. Throw the whole damned POS law out.

I heard someone on TV mention there is a gun rights case before SCOTUS this week, but I can’t find any info on it. Anyone know about it?

BK can move the dial on gun rights, I hope there are some big cases pending.

Just leave.

NJSP will never let this go quietly. Like in CT, I followed laws and was still harassed weekly about it.

You can get a carry permit in NYC. They issue them. But a NYC cop sees one on you ? Oh boy oh boy.

Like throughout PA, where I live. PA has plenty of state laws and other things that affirm our rights to carry. But try to exercise it in the cities. They’ll probably just shoot you if you print.
