I just did an image search for Iran 1970. It gave pictures of men an women dressed in the fashions of the day, girls wearing bikinis at the beach, women in the workplace and lots of smiling people.
There is a special place in hell for Jimmy Carter.

IMO, ALL of the problems we have with IRAN are directly attributable to Jimmah Carter. He let Shah Pavlavi fall to the radical Islamists.
