Actually, as weird as it may seem, Ft. Walton Beach is in Okaloosa County not Walton County.

Thanks, for correcting my error. I live in central FL and I am on standby to deploy as a shelter ham radio operator. Making sure my batteries are all charged up and bags packed in case they call.

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) -- Okaloosa County Commissioners have issued an evacuation notice for Zones A, B and C starting Monday evening. This includes areas south of Highway 98 as well as low-lying areas in the County.

And Santa Rosa Beach isn’t in Santa Rosa County as well. Ft. Walton Beach had no fort, nor does it have a beach.
