Stay put and hunker down.
Have been thru seven hurricanes.
Evacuation is out of the question.
All routes, east west and north are parking lots.
Tried evacuating in 1985, Elena, wound up stuck on the road with hundreds of others in a roadside park in Alabama, about 50 miles from home. Should have stayed home.
Tried evacuating in 1995 from Opal.
Couldn’t even get out of town, traffic was at a standstill.
Have since moved to a brick home that was built in 1960 and has survived every hurricane SINCE....................
