When my B-I-L was having Surgery for his Esophageal Cancer, he put me on the DNR to make sure they did anything possible to keep him alive if something went wrong.

He didn't trust his Wife (my S-I-L) to make sure that happened. He was sure she would pull the Plug. LOL

He survived the gruesome Surgery and lasted another five years.

I recall talking to my Dad the day before he died, “That DNR was a helluva lot easier to sign two years ago, than it would be today.”

A little bit of experience really outweighs a shit load of experience.
