I’m such a cynical person, but I want to say that we better hadn’t completely alienate Murkowski as she could change her Party and then the Senate would be 50-50. Jumpin’ Jim Jeffords did that and Trent Lott ended up agreeing to split the control of the Senate, in 2001, throwing the whole GWB Admin into a tizzy. Just thinking ahead here.........
