Police have rescued a British man who was likely trapped in a shed for 40 years and forced to work as a "slave", officials said.
The 58-year-old man was inside with only a chair and soiled bedding. His rescuers found him Wednesday during a raid at a residential site near Carlisle in Cumbria, United Kingdom, the BBC reported.
Authorities later arrested a 79-year-old man “on suspicion of modern slavery offenses,” saying he had held the man against his will for decades.

How does a 79 year old have the strength to restrain another human?
Could be though the 58 year old was Downs or some other form of mental retardation (sorry, don’t know the proper and politically correct name) and didn’t have the wherewithal to try an escape.
If true, the old man needs to feel the pain of imprisonment for the rest of his pathetic life.
I used to see reports like this all the time when I lived in Asia.

It’s probably not a Muslim if that is what you are inferring. Irish travellers have been known to do this by offering vulnerable homeless people with mental health problems etc jobs and then holding them as slaves with the threat of constant violence for years. They are another group that the authorities have pandered to for a long time, mostly because they tend to, like lower class Muslims, kick off when they are confronted, and the usual suspects on the soap dodging scumbag left are out in force doing their usual trick of calling everybody bigoted for not saying nice things about pikies and generally embracing whatever and whoever is a social cancer whose presence degrades society and makes wherever they are a shthole.
