As easy as when the Austrians kicked Serbia in 1914 maybe and set off a world war. All your hyperbole aside, do you literally think that we could launch a precision attack on Russian intermediate range missiles, inside Russia, and it would end there with them accepting that?
And by the way, I agree that we could launch a successful strike and they probably would have a very tough time stopping it.
But then congratulations, you just bombed nuclear missile sites inside Russia. At that point there would be a strategic missile exchange.
