What do the Republicans know and when did they know it? Seems like they know a lot more than they are letting on. They knew enough of Ford’s background to likely know the whole thing was phony. Instead of blowing it wide open at the hearing, they played along. I’m not really seeing the benefit of stringing along the public, not to mention Kavanaugh and his family.

Funny you say that. I know that from the beginning of this whole thing Ford and her accusers have asked for an FBI investigation. Rameriz would not appear before the committee she turned them down 7 times but each time asked for the FBI I find that odd. Swetnick is also saying FBI FBI.
Yesterday some of Rameiz’s friends are also asking for the FBi.
Ford who who spoke to the committee and in front of millions still is demanding the FBI even today there was a letter from her attorneys demanding she be interviewed but why?
It was reported tonight that they really do not need to speak to her unless she has corroborating evidence. Now this letter comes out I kind of feel like all of them are in it and with this letter the FBI might talk to her again giving her wish of the FBI but why does she want them to talk to the FBI.

The request for a lengthy FBI investigation is to delay the nomination process and intimidate BK’s friends, associates and family. This also being done to intimidate future republican SC nominees. Looks like their plan is going to backfire Bigly.

Watch out for crazy conspiracy theory material to be attached to the truth of the McLean matter.
That tactic has been used at least since the late ‘70s to falsely discredit the truth about a crime and turn the general public away from it.
For example, a highly placed person commits a crime. The public official or his friends will simply mix that true information with false claims about an intelligence agency, military plot, Freemasons, mindreaders, creatures from other planets, or other fictitious individuals and actions.
Then public servants in charge of investigating (e.g., the Senate), will avoid acknowledging the true part of the matter or investigating it. No one wants to be associated with it then.
