You're right. Unfortunately, if Trump had picked what you or I would consider an ideal nominee for the Supreme Court, the GOP establishment would stand by and let the Democrats tear him to shreds. Kavanaugh is mainstream enough to get people like Linda Graham go up to bat for him, which is unfortunately what we need to push this through to confirmation.
And while I was not thrilled with his nomination but what is done is done. He is the pick and while my support is of the "Hope he is better then what he is replacing" variety I still will support him.
I support him in any way I can now because he is under fire. And you NEVER send a man out and then fail to support him when he is under fire. Especially this kind of heavy fire.
Not unless your last name is Clinton or Obama.
