What’s the point of a non-disclosure agreement when they still feel entitled to just put it all out there later, and still keep the money?

the whole point is to destroy one of the foundational documents of any capitalist business - the NDA

but courts should turn it around and rightfully charge the woman and her attorney with extortion. Rather than go to court with a shaky rape charge in the first place, they agreed to a contractual solution. She accepted a business contract - to protect both reputations. One party spending the 1/3-million dollar proceeds and then violating the contract is still breech of contract. It’s like selling your house for half a mil, then coming back 5 years later and suing the buyer for more money because the house now appraises higher.
