Well, you will have to lug along propellant and primer and cases with this thing too.
The question here is whether the weight is greater or less than the equivalent number of rounds of conventional ammunition.
Whats been shown seems to be bulkier, at least, than conventional brass-cased ammo. I don’t know if the system as a whole is bulkier than the current systems, counting magazines.
i misread the description as being essentially a portable railgun. Obviously, with something like that, you couldn’t use lead bullets. You’d need something that interacts with an electrical field better. I want a rail gun.
