The United States and China imposed a new round of tariffs on each other's goods on Monday. Soon after the new duties went into effect, China accused the US of engaging in "trade bullyism."
But Beijing also said it was willing to restart trade negotiations with the United States if the talks are "based on mutual respect and equality," the official state news agency, Xinhua said, citing a white paper on the dispute published by China's State Council.

I have no idea whether the two sides are talking at the moment, but I very much think America is being badly played by China.
I encourage Trump to do much more, than he has thus far.
China is badly playing America, at the moment.
Badly.
Trump, you are on the right path thus far.
But much more is needed.
Much more.
Winning. Trump does what his enemies think he cant do and trumps them.
Trump and Americans want a fair trade deal. Not a ripoff.
Hey ChiComs:
You need us more than we need you.
Get it?
I wouldnt be surprised to see an eventual trade agreement with the Chinese.
USMCA is already a done deal.
"whaaaa...., calling me a liar and cheater is just bullying..."
Already whining - like Democrats. Trump has them right where he wants them.
President Trump is going around the world making trade deals with every country except China, putting them in a box. China can come to the table in a big way now or wait and get boxed in later and pay even more. Don’t listen to the MSM talking heads who say President Trump is playing with fire on China trade.
He has the flamethrower right where he wants it...firmly up China’s ass!
Wilbur Ross - Head Trade Negotiator for the US says the USMEXCA deal is worth $1.2 trillion to the US.
I’m not so sure, that the media isn’t 100% on China’s side.
Actually.
100%
America’s entire establishment has been entirely on their side, for more than the entire last generation.
The media is a big part of their support, I think.
Big time...
This explains a lot about auto and atou parts for the US.

TRADE-DEAL RATCHET SOLUTION
[GREAT FUN to see our contributions put to use!]
Posted on September 15th thread:
Trump-Tariff BRILLIANCE UNRECOGNIZED: The Content and Origination percentages can be RATCHETED UP whenever President Trump and AMLO decide our countries are ready to take another step toward 100% Made in USM.
Trump-Tariff BRILLIANCE UNRECOGNIZED: The Mexican-Auto $16 Minimum Wage just STARTED ABOVE the American Lefties Minimum Wage propositions of $15 and can be RATCHETED UP whenever President Trump and AMLO decide to.
Watch for Mexico Trade Agreement details that TRANSITION PARTS SOURCING from CHINA to AMERICA with PACING that MATCH the SPEED of AMERICAs MANUFACTURING RENAISSANCE.
Sundance on 9/15 RE WAGES & CONTENT: Thank you for the inspiration!
Combining the wage aspect with the content and origination agreement, this has become a win/win for both AMLO and President Trump.

[RE SIDE LETTERS] This would be a BRILLIANT tactic for pacing the Rate-of-Ratchet to match the Rate-of-Rebuilding for our Auto Parts Industry, preventing critical parts shortages!
Sundance on 9/30 RE SIDE DEALS: Thank you for the explanation!
9. The new agreement puts a system into place to progressively ratchet-up the amount of North American part content produced by Canada; in order to retain their access to the U.S. Market.
11. Additionally, this approach is a tactic for pacing the Rate-of-Ratchet to match the Rate-of-Rebuilding for our North American auto parts industry; which has been heavily outsourced to China/Asia; and the time-allowed will prevent critical parts shortages.
When BBC talks about the US/China tariffs they only bring on Chinese that try to play the victim ,LOL
China, maybe your Chinese Operative, Sen. Fecalstain, can help you out?
We import 4 times as much from China as they do from us. The last round of tariffs took China over 80%, i.e. they are just about out of ammo. Trump knew he could win this battle by attrition, and he will. It just takes time for China’s party (i.e. military) leaders to force Xi to give in.
“Beijing also said it was willing to restart trade negotiations with the United States if the talks are “based on mutual respect and equality”
“Negotiations” based on the communists unconditional surrender, would benefit the USA and the free people of the World, much more.
“The new agreement puts a system into place to progressively ratchet-up the amount of North American part content”
Brilliant.
President Trump’s choice of Wilbur Ross, and his willingness to serve, is a yuge strategic gift to the USA. If it ultimately results in avoiding a future World dominated by the ruthless communist Party of China, it will have been a gift to all of humanity.
When the economic levers are in place, I hope that this Administration further exposes the horrific human rights abuses of those communists, occurring today. Their ideology, and the basis for their rule, should be thoroughly discredited.
China is welcome to look elsewhere.
Exactly
Our markets. Our money. Our real estate
Who the hell wantz real estate in Beijing ?
Theres 800 million poor people there as well
