Telling a story to a reporter is one thing.
Telling that story to the FBI under penalty of perjury is quite a different matter.
Is it lying if she adds to what she told the Times. The Times turned down her story because they couldn’t get corroboration from her witnesses. She would not talk to the committee only saying she would only talk to the FBI. Let’s say she told the FBI a new juicer story with more witness’s not the earlier ones she disclosed.

Hadn’t she already provided names of witnesses, and they all said they didn’t remember any such thing happening. Same as with Ford’s named witnesses.
What looks bad is if she’s gathered up a bunch more names to replace the first set of witnesses who totally disowned any knowledge of the incident. It only lessens her credibility that much more.
