If tariffs go from .5 % to 1%, that would be a whopping 100% increase!
And it would make virtually no difference.
Most of the trade problem with China is because of dozens of other ways that they lie, cheat and steal - not their tariffs.
We can’t match them in those other areas (illegal and immoral), but we can force a correction with tariffs
