Those Who Unmake Civilization
PJ Media ^ | 27 Sep 2018 | Sarah Hoyt

I've been listening to crazy people saying things like, "someone isn't entitled to the presumption of innocence," or an accusation that is not only unproven but unprovable is "corroborated" in growing alarm. What goes through my mind is that this is the way you un-make civilization.

Part of the problem is that our civilization – arguably, at least in terms of keeping the most people alive and in relative comfort – is not normal in the history of the world.

This strange idea that each individual has rights, that the rights are inherent to them, that they deserve to be given due process and not simply destroyed because someone – anyone, or one of their betters – accused them of something is not only bizarre in terms of historical societies. It’s also something that took a long time to work itself through.

And ever since it’s been created there have been attempts to take it back to “normal human society.”

The attempts are usually the result of people who don’t understand the full horror that society used to be. People who think that society without all these “ridiculous” protections for normal individuals will be somehow better. Or people who understand how horrible it will be but think they will emerge on top and be able to make things serve a greater good somehow.

The left is fighting and will never stop. The right is not fighting and will never start. Trump’s base is letting him down big time.

they will continue until stopped......that is dead.

They control the legal processes and are above the law

The law is more or less useless to stop them The law is their cudgel with which they destroy America

or North Korea ... far worse.

Not to mention China’s Tiananmen Square massacre of over 10,000 protestors, bystanders, house wives making dinner, reporters, other local troops - most bodies turned to mush, burned and fire-hosed down the sewers. Tyranny knows no limits ...

This is a simple matter of those who will do anything to acquire power.

Anything must be done to prevent such people from acquiring power.

The term NAZI is an abbreviation for National Socialist. Therefore, democrats are NAZIs. And they’re sure living up to their name!

This is why we need to live by right and wrong, not by the mere letter of the law as the legal positivists would have us do.

The Dems’ desire for power over others flows from the original sin of out-sized ego and pride. It is Satanic as they wish to become as gods. The Dems have become like Golum pursuing their “precious” right to power.

Lindsey Graham was so correct in hoping that the Dems never attain power. If they do, they will assuredly manipulate the FBI, CIA, IRS and any other government agency to make certain that they never lose power again. They have shown their soul (or lack thereof) to America this week.

The Dems would far more want to rule over the burning wreckage of the USA than serve in a fantastically free and prosperous USA. In other words they would rather rule in Hell than serve in Heaven.

Sarah Hoyt, that was a fascinating and most excellent read! Your head is certainly screwed on right. Great philosophy and understanding of the historical big picture!

Now, how many of you other readers are ready for those “tumbrils,” the moment that we know things are going south? ;-)

Henry the Eighth cut off the head of two wives and the charges against the first, Queen Anne Boleyn, were totally bogus. That sham trial was only approximately five hundred years ago. Sham trial and false witness statements - gee that sounds familiar.

“Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as "bad luck.”

“Part of the problem is that our civilization – arguably, at least in terms of keeping the most people alive and in relative comfort – is not normal in the history of the world.”

What a horsecrap statement. If civilization is not the normal state of affairs for humanity, than humanity should have been scattered and destroyed 2,000 years ago. The writer is a babbling nitwit.
