“* She says she told her therapist in 2012, during couples therapy, that Kavanaugh attacked her, but the therapist notes do not have Kavanaughs name. She was in couples therapy because of home remodeling issues between her and her husband: she wanted two front doors because of her claustrophobia. This is the impetus to make her report the attack in 2012? Couples therapy for home-remodeling? Ford does have some serious issues, which were not adequately probed during testimony.”
It has also been reported that the permits for that remodel were obtained in 2008.

Oh, finally something I can relate to!!
I have a mild form of claustrophobia. I feel suffocated if there isn’t moving air. I can actually break out on a sweat, no matter the temperature. (No idea where this comes from) I will always open a car window or a room window just a crack, if at all possible. I can survive, obviously, in situations without cross-current air flow or in spaces other than my own, but that is my preference. It’s sort of a marital issue, because DH either shivers and turns up the heat or swelters and wants the a/c on. Sometimes he gets his way. Sometimes I get mine. It’s called compromise.
Couples therapy? Over this sort of issue? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
How the heck does two front doors alleviate claustrophobia, anyway? Most homes have a front door, a back door, maybe a side door, sometimes a porch door or a door connected to the garage. Having a problem visualizing 2 front doors.
CBF is a whack job.
