Ms. Ford went to a house party to meet boys. That's obvious. Ms. Ford claims that everyone else but her was drunk. She has no facts (or witnesses) to support her claim. I think she went there, was drinking, and voluntarily went upstairs with a boy – perhaps Brett Kavanaugh, or perhaps someone else. Then, when they started getting physical, Ms. Ford changed her mind after the fact and got upset, as women sometimes do.

I can't prove that this is what happened, but my version of events has as much corroboration as Ms. Ford's version, and it has the benefit of explaining why Ms. Ford went up a flight of stairs to go to "a distant bathroom."

Another unanswered question: How did Ms. Ford leave the party? She claimed she had to walk past Brett Kavanaugh to leave. Didn't she remember doing that? Did he try to stop her? She gave no recollection of that at all. You would think she would remember at least that.

And she did not remember how she got home, a six- or eight-mile journey. Did someone drive her? Did whoever took her home notice her apparent distress? Ms. Ford, by remembering only one part of the alleged events, conveniently makes her story immune to cross-examination.

This is a dead end.

I’ve been to plenty of beer drinking parties myself where someone else was in a bathroom and went to another.

There was even a time when all were occupied and I pissed outside.

And yes, it was Montgomery County MD.

SOME OTHER THINGS THAT DON’T ADD UP OR LOOKED STAGED:

* She cannot remember incidents from the past few months but is sure that Kavanaugh attacked her 36 years ago.

* She doesn’t know, or refused to say, how she got from the swimming pool to the party house and how she got home. She was too young to drive, so someone had to drive her, and the identity of the driver is important. The driver would testify how she looked if she had been attacked, and what she said, but she refused to say who drove.

* She cannot remember if she gave her therapy notes to the Washington Post two weeks ago.

* She said she knew that Kavanaugh and Judge would be at the party but gave no testimony as to how she knew them and how she knew they would be at the “gathering.”

* She couldn’t answer if she paid for the polygraph, and her attorneys had to answer that they paid for the polygraph.

* She hired the attorney, Katz, recommended by Senator Feinstein. Instead of reporting the allegation to the entire Judiciary Committee, Feinstein referred her to an activist Dem attorney.

* She says she told her therapist in 2012, during couples’ therapy, that Kavanaugh attacked her, but the therapist notes do not have Kavanaugh’s name. She was in couples’ therapy because of home remodeling issues between her and her husband: she wanted two front doors because of her claustrophobia. This is the impetus to make her report the attack in 2012? Couples’ therapy for home-remodeling? Ford does have some serious issues, which were not adequately probed during testimony.

* She complained about flying to D.C. to testify because of fear of flying, yet she flew to Maryland in August to meet with Feinstein and interview attorneys and has flown to Hawaii, Costa Rica, and other places.

* She said she did not know that the Judiciary Committee had offered to travel to California to interview her. This was on the news for a week, and her attorneys knew about the offer.

* She said he saw Judge six to eight weeks after the incident at the Safeway where he worked when she went shopping with her mother. But she didn’t tell her mother that he was one of the boys who had attacked her, and she joked that she had entered the store through a different door from the one her mother used because she didn’t want to enter through the same door.

* She did not tell her parents about the incident until August 2018 (36 YEARS LATER !!!!) , even though she was interviewing attorneys and meeting with Feinstein.

Correct. Her story is not credible with what she stated.

Memory gaps? Are indicators. Suppressed memories 36 years? Come on. Headshake.

But lets for now, focus on today. This will work out, in spite of the ComDems continuing to Bray:

FBI Investigation, FBI Investigation

Heee Haww, Heee Haww, Heee Haww!

So many holes in her story and that useless prosecutor they brought in missed it all... Why was music playing in a bedroom if the party was downstairs? They didn’t look and see the building permits for the remodel was in 2008, not 2012.. That wasn’t 30 years ago, a four year mistake just 6 years ago? She lied because she needed a story to connect why she brought it up in therapy in 2012? The lie about traveling she did establish, but she missed the real big lie. Ford said she needed time to drive from CA but was already in Delaware and could have done this last week

Too much thinking. Her claim is of a small group and she named all or all but one. Herself, bff Leyland,K,Judge & PJ.

A tiny group but leaved out (deliberately) the homeowner and who drove her - because they could establish for certain it never happened.

Impossible to forget those two. Plus everyone else denied it.

Who is the maggot Senator from Rhode Island? He is consumed by the fact that 18 year olds like to drink. When I was 18 my favorite hangout was an Air Force beer lounge.

"...The only reason for Ms. Ford to go upstairs would be to go to a bedroom, with someone at this party..."

Ford is a lying dissembing, scheming, Leftist tool. But to be fair, the bathroom on the floor might have had someone it it, and when you gotta go, you gotta go.

That is all I am going to give her, though.

The only reason for Ms. Ford to go upstairs would be to go to a bedroom, with someone at this party.

The only reason? Doubtful. Sometimes people want to get away from the group for some peace and quiet. Sometimes they want to see what drugs are in the bathroom cabinet. Sometimes they just explore somebody else's house. Who hasn't done that as a teenager? Get your mind out of the gutter, American Thinker.

This is what I believe is most likely to have occurred.

What I believe is that it never happened. Something happened to her somewhere sometime with somebody. But the details she gives now probably don't correspond to an actual incident at that (unspecified) time and place. It's a vivid but false memory that she has come to believe over time.

I'm surprised she didn't point out the obvious:

She took an Uber ride home. :-P

Perhaps some horseplay with some guy who did go to Georgetown Prep did happen to Ford at some point. Maybe she knew the guy’s name, maybe she didn’t. At some point probably very recently, she merged in her mind Brett K with that other nameless, probably faceless boy. One thing that hasn’t been discussed nearly enough is what a different era it was in the 1980s compared to now in terms of information. Ford and BK did not attend the same high school/ elementary school/ church, nor were they neighbors, etc. How exactly did she know who Brett Kavanaugh was? A friend of a friend supposedly? In 2018, everyone knows everything about everyone through Facebook etc. Back in 1982, when socializing with kids from other schools/churches/neighborhoods, you had pretty limited information (often just first names, sometimes not even that).

Whatever happened to the two men (unidentified) who told Grassley they may have been at that party Ford claims Kavanaugh and Judge were at?

Ed Whelan was on to something.

Prep school teenagers don’t break into a stranger’s house in order to have a beer-drinking party.

If it happened, it happened at the house of one of the six teenagers.

But the location and lay-outs of the other known party attendees can’t be made to fit the circumstances. It was supposedly near the country club pool.

She said under oath yesterday that she went out with Kavanaugh’s friend Garrett (known as Squee) for a couple of months. Squee’s house matches the location and lay-out of her story.

In my opinion she knowingly and consciously made the whole thing up as a “by any means necessary” way to keep Kavanaugh off the court and physically located the event in her mind in Kavanaugh’s friend’s Squee’s house which she was familiar with because she went out with him.

I’m betting that after huddling with her lawyers Commissar Katz and Commissar Bromwich, they advised her she needed to be vague on the identity of the fourth boy at the party so if necessary she could claim it was his house and she couldn’t remember his name.

It’s pointless to try to figure out what really “happened”.

There’s so many holes in her story and all the things that led to her “testimony” that it’s just a block of swiss cheese.

If something actually happened at a party it was nothing but kid stuff. This kind of crap wouldn’t even get the cops to do anything except tell everyone to knock it off and go home.

She’s confusing memories and fabricating others because of her bitterness towards all the boys she screwed who left her behind. If she can pull every one of them down it still wouldn’t assuage her resentment.

Nothing but a messed up, bitter little girl hiding under the cover of left wing anti-white hetero male orthodoxy.

Her best friend said she had no recollection of the party and had never met Kavanaugh. The testimony of a best friend is all I need to know to convince me this incident never happened and Ford has psychological problems

Give me a break. First, you have to accept the premise that the incident ever happened in this fantasy house with bathrooms and bedrooms inhabited by people who deny it ever happened.

Now the author has the rest of us believing that the house existed and some type of event occurred. Why should we go there? Such speculation just reinforces a fable that was refuted by the very people who were named by Ford.

I was a juror on a rape case and the woman testified after she got away from her rapist she walked out the room and walked down the street. We asked ourselves why walk ? Why didn’t you run ? She lost the case. So, if Ford feared for her life, why did she walk out the house? Why didn’t she run ? Or tell the people downstairs what happened ?

Has Dr. Ford been asked if the lights were on in the upstairs bedroom? If she is 100% certain of the identity of her assailant, I’d be doubtful of her ability to identify him.
