The father of a missing 6-year-old boy with autism says his son ran away from him in a park last Saturday in North Carolina and he couldn't catch him. The FBI and over 300 officers are searching the more than 240-acre park, including a lake.

"It didn't look as though, they were that concerned," Foxx said of the boy's father and his girlfriend, who was with him at the park. "I've worked there almost three years and we see everybody come in and out of that park pretty much. I didn't see that kid one time."

Either the child is the fastest and most invisible kid in the world, or dad has some explaining to do.

I suspected the father from the get go.

Didn’t want to be tied down(financially) by a disabled son.

You can walk a mile in any direction from that lake, and you hit some significant road. So unless he got kidnapped or fell into the lake...he was never there.

Yes, I agree with you. And, what father wouldn’t risk his own life and keep running (???!!!) to catch up to a 6 year-old, if he thought he was in danger?

The father makes it sound like his kid was a world class sprinter.

It couldn’t be the Dad. He took a polygraph. That’s all the proof he needs. Watching Ford’s testimony proves that. (Do i need a sarc/ tag)?

I believe the general public (and Freepers) are becoming much more perceptive in reading body language and speech patterns with these types of cases.

The ‘father’ has an ex-wife and a girl friend who probably didn’t bond with his little son.

Too many stories of child murders by parents.

Please God, stop this evil.
