She will show up, the Dems will demand that the hearing be suspended, then when Grassley rules that the hearing will proceed and just when she is to be sworn in all the Dems will walk out in protest. Since the committee rules require at least on member of the minority for a quorum the hearing will be cancelled. All of this is, of course, predicated on whether or not Ford had submitted he written testimony prior to the hearing, (two days prior if my memory is correct). I’m not sure if she will submit her written testimony since it is submitted under penalty of perjury, If she doesn’t she can not be allowed to testify.
