Christine Blasey Ford is set to give the whole game away and then some.
This Thursday, the woman who accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault is set to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Ford alleges that Kavanaugh forcibly groped her at a party while both were in high school. So far, no eyewitnesses corroborate her account.
Everything up until this point has shown that Ford isn’t exactly a scrupulous truth-teller just out trying to do the right thing. I suspected all along the whole thing was about who was going to replace RBG.

Someone posted a credible trick that Democrats will play on Judge Kavanaugh.
1. Ford will not show up/
2. Kavanaugh will be ‘encouraged’ to testify and be questioned to ‘clear his good name’.
3. After Kavanaugh is done, Ford will show up unexpectedly with her attorney demanding she be heard.
4. Senate Republicans will cave and let her testify.
5. Ford will rebut Kavanaugh’s testimony and responses.
If Ford does not show up Thursday, Grassley should disallow any testimony from Judge Kavanaugh and immediately request McConnell proceed with an up or down floor vote.
This woman doesn’t want to testify under oath - PERIOD!
But maybe not before the confirmation.
If she testifies and is reasonably shown a liar, she:
1. Risks perjury prosecution;
2. Sees her speechmaking “market value” fall to nearly 0.
On the other hand, if she can decline to testify in some way that at least partially saves face, and then publicly talk after he’s confirmed, she doesn’t risk prison, and she probably retains some moest market value.
There are people who still pay for sh!tlery.
“Has any member of the press actually spoken with her? Does she even exist? All I’ve seen of her is a picture of a woman with sunglasses. Is she a deaf mute?”
That’s what I am wondering as well. Did the reporter at the WaPo who wrote the article actually verify the identity of the person they were interviewing? Was the interview conducted in person or over the phone?
I think that if an actual reporter dug into this woman’s crazy story they would discover that it was nothing more than a sham, probably concocted by Fusion GPS or some group like them. All they needed was someone who had been in school in DC at the same time as Judge Kavanaugh and who would agree to let their name be used in order to stop the appointment. No one ever expected him to fight back and now they’re running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to extricate themselves from this mess without getting caught!

Of course she is. Another “enhanced memory” with more than a few significant details left out.
That is an insult to the senators on the judiciary committee. I guess they will sit there and take it.
No reason to do that. This is being made way more complicated than it should be. A webcast is the answer.
The democrats are probably in shock.
Genius Trump nominated 2 judges with impeccable records, integrity and morals.
Democrats are desperate.
I have no doubt she thought she could send an anonymous letter and that would be enough.
It doesn’t matter if she testifies or not. The fix is in. Murkowski is completely on the same side as gillibrand and Hirono. She just issued a statement today saying that an FBI investigation should have been done. So she’s voting no no matter what. A vote count will be taken and once it’s assured that Kavanaugh will be defeated, we’ll get 45 + Republicans to vote Yes as part of the Sham.
It dawns on me the Democrats may have one last trick up their sleeve.
They can hold a press conference that is designed to LOOK like a Senate hearing, and have her give “testimony” that includes softball questions and on-cue crying, from what LOOKS like a Senate hearing room.
Only it will all be a Potemkin Village TV production and not an actual hearing. Remember Sandra Fluke? THAT”S exactly what she was doing.
This is incorrect on many levels...
She’s chickening out b/c she heard Pubbies called her gynecologist about the “vaginal tightening” procedure she had.
Seems after 64 sex partners before college, her vagina was as wide as the mouth of a Big Gulp.
With a “vaginal tightening” she hoped her sex life would (cough) improve.
