President Donald Trump says the political and economic chaos in Venezuela is unacceptable. But he’s avoiding commenting on questions about whether the U.S. would ever intervene in the South American country.
Trump notes that the country — once one of the wealthiest countries in the hemisphere — is spiraling downward. Venezuela’s inflation and homicide rates are among the highest in the world and more than 2 million people have fled the violence and conflict in recent years.
The Trump administration on Tuesday slapped financial sanctions on four members of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s inner circle, including his wife and the nation’s vice president, on allegations of corruption.
Trump spoke while attending the U.N. General Assembly after meeting with Colombia President Ivan Duque (DOO-kay).

Unacceptable to whom? Seems like it’s very acceptable to a lot of folks.
When was the last time that an American President denounced socialism or communism? No wonder they had a nervous laugh. Socialism is their ticket to wealth and the American President just told their citizens it was the way to poverty and chaos.
I don’t care. This socialist shit-show was not imposed on Venezuelans by alien invaders. They (mostly) chose it. Its part of their Latin caudillo culture.
I was critical of Bush and Obama for getting into someone else’s civil war. We didn’t want anyone in the middle of ours, they probably don’t either. The only thing Venezuela is to us is our number three supplier of petroleum products which we can cover ourselves. Be a good excuse push again for the pipe;line from Canada and opening up more in Anwar.

How dumb can AP be? Trump linked these doors into going Wile E Coyote again. Trump purposely told like any pieces of crap In UN about his accomplishments as president so they would laugh and the dopes in the media would report it. They have been doing so all day and Trump is winning again.
