I agree. The minute the Republicans on the Committee were intimidated by Feinstein pulling that spurious letter out of the hat last minute (and only done because they couldn’t lay a glove on Kavanaugh’s intellect, love of the law and love of the Constitution), they lost all credibility with me—an independent female voter. Nuts to the #metooers. Not all women are emotional political pawns. All hail Barbara Jordan! The Democrats have demeaned Kavanaugh. They have demeaned the rule of law (always have), and they grow bolder in demeaning the Constitution, our lifeblood. Some of us believe in the need to keep the Supreme Court unweaponized. The Executive Branch and the Legislative Branch are political animals. Let the politicians have them; but, the Judicial Branch is not of the same ilk. Ideology was never meant to be its middle name. Lady Justice wears a blindfold for a reason. Man up!!
