This statement underscores the respect he has had for women throughout his life. Even as a teenager, he seems to have had friendships with girls and women that wasn't primarily focused on sex. Isn't this what feminism was supposed to be all about? Being treated fully as a peer?

Makes me think that modern feminism is more about women being about to do whatever they want, without guilt or consequences.
