Accused liar McCabe hits panic button over prospect Rosenstein on his way OUT
The National Sentinel ^ | 9/24/18 | USA Features

Unraveling: Following reports Monday that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is scheduled to meet with POTUS Donald Trump on Thursday, likely tied to allegations he schemed to oust the commander-in-chief, fired Deep State liar and former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe appeared to hit the panic button.

And why? Over the bogus probe regarding special counsel Robert Mueller.

In a statement, McCabe — who was fired earlier this year by Attorney General Jeff Sessions for lying on multiple occasions to investigators — expressed concern that Mueller’s probe could go away (as it should) if caretaker Rosenstein, who appointed Mueller, is sacked or resigns.

The proper thing to do would to give Rosenstein a gun with one bullet in it.

“There is nothing more important to the integrity of law enforcement and the rule of law than protecting the investigation of Special Counsel Mueller. If the rumors of Deputy AG’s Rosenstein’s departure are true, I am deeply concerned it puts that investigation at risk,” he said.

If he’s worried that we may not find out about collusion and we may have an illegitimate president, he should have been speaking out for a year. At this point, the “illegitimate president” will serve at least half his term. That’s really bad for the country if true and Mueller is doing a terrible job. Odd that McCabe is only now raising concerns that Mueller may not have enough time to finish and hasn’t been urging speed since day one.

More likely, Mueller’s purpose is not to remove an “illegitimate president”, but to run interference into investigations of illegal activity by the DOJ/FBI. In this case, McCabe would be in no rush to have Mueller “finish” his work and would be very concerned about the “investigation” shutting down while congress still has some interest in oversight of 2016 activity.

He might want to stay out of Fort Marcy Park.

Isn't McCabe the one that leaked the story about wiring Trump to the New York Times?

What did he think was going to happen after that story?

I think that with lots of witnesses. Trump should simply state that after the newspaper articles, he has no confidence in Rosenberg and his objectivity. Then I would turn it over either to the DOJ Inspector General to discipline Rosenberg or I would see a court order forcing him to recuse himself from all official functions.

At that point, I would like an FBI sting operation to be mounted against him, such as was done against General Flynn.

McCabe leaked this story in hopes that Trump would fire Rosenstein. For that reason alone, Trump needs to keep him on. Trump has nothing to lose in the Mueller investigation since he didn’t do anything wrong. But if Trump fires Rosenstein, Mueller will call it obstruction of justice.

Trump needs to hold the cards for now.

The Dems have almost 4 days to get their act together. President Trump probably won't fire Rosenstein because, well, President Trump doesn't do that anymore … unfortunately.

The Democrats are going to put HUGE pressure on Rosenstein to stay on board and continue with obstruction, or force the President to fire him. Since it is unlikely that the President will fire him, don't count on Rosenstein going anywhere. After the Dems work on him, his resignation is out of the question.

Rosentein leaving office voluntarily will cause the whole house of cards to collapse, the whole chain of dominoes to tumble over, flop, flop, flop, flop. Once Rosenstein is voluntarily out it will be a massacre.

Rosenstein reviews Mueller’s report before it is released to the public. He would have to approve a Mueller subpoena of Trump. Rosenstein is the gatekeeper on the release of DOJ and FBI information to Congress.

Keeping Rosenstein in place has its downside as well. He is part of the cabal that is still trying to takeout the President. His May16, 2017 meeting with McCabe, Page, et. al. was a strategy meeting on how to deal with Trump. They had a disagreement on tactics, but not the ultimate objective. The fact that McCabe felt comfortable discussing these matters with his boss and in front of the other participants at the meeting demonstrates how unified they were. The next day Rosenstein appointed Mueller as SC.

Mueller’s job may be to seek out and destroy certain embarrassing evidence going back to say, the founding of the Holy Land Foundation.

The NYT piece on rosenstein will have the effect of leaving him weaker and right on the line. Even if he keeps his job, he’s a sneeze away from being gone.

And if he is gone, the new Assistant AG will NOT be protecting muller.

Give him the gun, and lock him in a room with Comey, McCabe, and a few of the other conspirators, and see see who walks out.

“They made me do it!”

McCabe wants Trump to fire Rosenstein so he can have a proper public screeaching hissy fit. He's counting on Brennan, Rosentstein and 95% of the media to do the same.

I'm kinda looking forward to that collective hysteria, but more for the spectacle than the strategy.

"The proper thing to do would to give Rosenstein a gun with one bullet in it."

That only works if the person receiving gun/bullet has some degree of personal honor. No leftist does.

You have a time machine, that only allows you one trip to the past, and that’s in 1938. You’re in in a room with Hitler, Stalin and Walter O’Malley. You have a gun with two bullets. This is your only opportunity. What do you do?

Shoot O’Malley twice.
