“No insult ever fed a hungry child.”

OK, show me the pillars of resolve among Republicans in Congress who are ready to tell Feinswine & Schumer to go climb a tree and are calling for an immediate vote. Names, please. All I see is Reps dithering and crumbling before the never ending ranks of Democrat accusers.

Point out the leadership of Mitch McConnell in this nomination. Yeah, he gave us Gorsuch & then told us to STFU.

OBTW, heading for the hills & running up surrender flags aren’t the same thing.

Are you ready to lead a march on the U.S. Congress?

DiFi etal should be expelled from the committee if not from the senate.

She should have been expelled last spring for leaking Glenn Simpsons Fusion GPS testimony to help out her former aid. Her excuse was she had a cold..

The best quote is this one:

FARROW: “And I would say that’s extremely typical with these stories when you are dealing with drama and alcohol

LOL. She has impeached her own story. It pretty well sums up the democratic case against white men. DRAMA and ALCOHOL.

Thought experiment for remarks I’ve seen on dozens of threads over the past week or two to the effect:

If the GOP gets smeared and out-maneuvered by Dem thuggery, even though they may have game plan for winning (as PDJT often does) but doesn’t agree with your scorched-earth suggestions for answering thug tactics, punish the GOP by staying home on election day (or some other self-immolation behavior).

Here’s the thought experiment:

Say your kid (wife, brother) comes home after being thrashed and trashed and doesn’t fight back with scorched-earth tactics you would use. Do you add to the thrashing and trashing by bullying your own? Locking your loved one out of the house? Disown? Bully the bully? Answer with thuggery? Whine about it on FR?

Here’s a suggestion:

Follow the lead of a grownup, the Hon. Judge Kavanaugh, who is adamant he will fight back against the smears but DOES NOT trash and thrash Sen. Grassley. Wait until you see the outcome before you judge our only allies in Congress.

I really don’t want to post this, but I’m overcoming my reluctance because I want to try to do something to TRY to help the confirmation process of Judge K and the mid-term election process for our President Donald J. Trump. And that something is this: If you can’t be part of the solution, at least stop being part of the problem by giving the thugs the exact things they want: Discord in the GOP ranks and Stay-at-home voters.

Sheesh

The Democrats are looking for a sexual encounter that was totally inappropriate - not unlike what they themselves are very capable of doing and have demonstrated many times in the past. Maybe not everybody thinks like they do and quite possibly most people never get into sordid sexual entanglements throughout their entire lives.

But that thought probably never entered their pointy little heads.

No I’m not. I have faith in the process. All that disgusting rowdiness in the Capitol building is doing more for us than it is for them.

I vote, I get my friends to vote. I embarrass my democrat friends by showing them what their unAmerican party is doing

Of course they did. Democrats know that Ford is full of soup so they need a back up.

For all those ready to trash the Republicans before the process has run its course, please take note that Clarence Thomas has been on the Court for 27 years now.

It's my hope that 27 years from now (when I will be 97) that you are all looking back apologetically for having been premature in your condemnation of the Republicans.

The truth is that we only barely have control of the Senate and we must cater to the needs of the weakest among the 51. If we had 60 Republican Senators, the weakest would be either silent or ignored.

“...DiFi etal should be expelled from the committee if not from the senate.....”
I’ve been saying it for a week now: FineSwine should have been immediately removed from the committee and censured in the Senate for this atrocity. Actually, she should have been doing prison time in a federal pen starting a looonnnngggg time ago.

She said, point-blank, I don’t want to ruin anyone’s life, but she feels this is a serious claim. She considers her own memories credible and she felt it was important to tell her own story before others did for her.

I'm not exactly sure what this left-wing partisan double-speak means, but I'll try to unpack it.

This Ramirez woman had something happen to her. But she was drunk and doesn't really remember any details, including who was invovled. A democrat operative decided to pin it on Kavanaugh. Ramirez then had that "six day session with an attorney" where oh yeah, now she remembers it's Kavanaugh. Had this session been a police interrogation to get a confession, it would have been tossed out of court as having been coerced.

So, Ramirez is a very reluctant "witness" as she's basically been coerced to tell a lie. And in so doing, its a really bad lie that easily fell apart.

The irony here is the statement of "I don't want to ruin anyone's life." The life being ruined is her own, because the democrats, who "care about women" are basically using her as a tool. To the democrats, she is a piece of talking meat, ready to be disposed of as soon as she's served her purpose.

This poor woman had her life turned upside down by Kavanaugh....she could barely function as a whole person, get her PhD, have four kids, run the CIA school at Stanford. and experiment on RU-486. She suddenly has her "repressed memory" come flooding back. She goes to Diane Feinstein as a beaten, broken woman, a victim of 64 sex partners before college, unable to even board a plane to DC (but can fly back and forth to school in Hawaii). ... and all the callous Feinstein can do is use this poor woman’s misery as a political tool instead of going straight to the police? What kind of monster puts politics ahead of a rape victim and murder survivor?....

Sniffle.
