Kavanaugh: 'I will not be intimidated into withdrawing'

Brett Kavanaugh on Monday said he will "not be intimidated into withdrawing" his Supreme Court nomination after a second woman came forward with a sexual misconduct allegation against him.

Kavanaugh sent a letter on Monday to Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.)— the chairman and ranking member of the Judiciary Committee, respectively — saying the accusations against him are "smears, pure and simple."

"They debase our public discourse. But they are also a threat to any man or woman who wishes to serve our country. Such grotesque and obvious character assassination—if allowed to succeed—will dissuade competent and good people of all political persuasions from service," Kavanaugh said in the letter to Grassley and Feinstein.

"I will not be intimidated into withdrawing from this process. The coordinated effort to destroy my good name will not drive me out. The vile threats of violence against my family will not drive me out. The last- minute character assassination will not succeed," Kavanaugh continued.

Testicular fortitude with a star. A lot of folks support Judge Kavanaugh regardless of the smear campaign.

THIS JUST IN---Sen Gillibrand calls for Kavanaugh nomination to be withdrawn
The Hill ^ | September 23, 2018 | Emily Birnbaum FR Posted by C19fan

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) is calling for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's nomination to be withdrawn following two sexual misconduct allegations against him. Gillibrand on Sunday tweeted her support for Deborah Ramirez, the woman who hours earlier went public in The New Yorker with her accusations against Kavanaugh. Ramirez is alleging that Kavanaugh exposed himself without her consent when the two attended Yale University together in the 1980s. (Excerpt) Read more at thehill.com ...

==============================

Her animus against Kavanaugh is understandable.....Kirsten likes men who play rough.

....there is ample evidence that Sen Gillibrand's father worked for the Nxivm sex cult in Albany. Gillibrand’s father Doug Rutnik was Nxivm's attorney for four months in 2004 at $25,000 per month. In 2004 Gillibrand left her NYC based law firm to work in his Albany office....during the period her father was working for Nxivm.

Isn't that a coincidence? Gillibrand endorsed Eric Schneiderman for AG. Schneiderman later investigated Nxivm.......
then E/S suddenly closed the case BUT nobody knows what happened to the evidence.

>

Schneiderman was ousted as NYAG b/c women came forward, said he slapped,
choked and spat at them in his bedroom. The "tolerant and compassionate" liberal
called a woman of color his "brown slave."

Keep this on the front burner. Schneiderman had better have some answers.....or else.

BACKSTORY As the NYAG, Schneiderman (then a full blown sex deviate behind closed doors)
suddenly announced he had suspended his investigations into Albany's NXIVM sex cult.

Despite an admission that he had accumulated tons of evidence, Schneiderman decided to look the other way.

WE HEREBY DEMAND TO KNOW: What did Schneiderman do with all the evidence?

If evidence has been destroyed, Schneiderman has got problems even bigger than those found in his bedroom.

Kavanaugh is one heck of a man. Twice the man Grassley is.

IMO Ford will back out of testifying using the democRATS’ excuse that the GOP isn’t willing to take another sexual accusation seriously - but instead want to ‘rush’ Kavanaugh through rather than investigating all complaints. Ford and the dems knows damn well she will be shredded in cross examination with the false testimony she’ll give (under oath) and she does not want to committ perjury or show the world she is a fool no matter how tempting the bribery is from Soros, dems.

This will give Grassley the opportunity to schedule the Judiciary committee vote on Thursday & move it to the floor on Oct 1st to award Kavanaugh a seat on the SC! I predict this is a big loser for the dems and will backfire. If I were Kavanaugh’s wife, I’d file a civil suit on the bitch.

Good to hear. As I’ve said before, I wouldn’t blame him if he did want to spare himself and his family these repeated smear jobs, but since he’s fighting on, I’m happy to support him. I don’t believe a f***ing word coming from those accusers.

What’s the famous Abraham Lincoln quote? “I can’t spare this man, he fights” or something like that? Good for Kavanaugh.

Good. I am certain Trump isn’t going to withdraw him either.

Time to call all the bluffs and start voting.
