“There must be a vote, or conservatives will abandon the Republican Party.”

Unfortunately, at this point in time, we can’t afford to abandon the GOP, because to do so, we would be abandoning President Trump. But it is a wakeup call for Republican voters to get their collective heads out of their a$$es and start to vote intelligently for a change. We are only getting the government we’ve voted for.

No, it’s not “time” NOW (after giving us $1T+ deficits). It wasn’t “time” when the (R) LIED to the People (give us Congress and we’ll repeal O’Care, DACA, fund the wall). It wasn’t “time” when (R) were passing NSA, TSA, NCLB, TARP, ‘too big to fail’. It wasn’t “time” when Romney/McCain were selling out the base...

No, the (R) has its own willing plantation residents; willing to take any number of swings and bleat, “Thank you, sir, can I have another?”.

So in order to “teach the GOPe a lesson,” you’d be for loosing the upcoming mid-term election by casting out all the Republican $hit? Somehow, that’s cutting off your nose to spite your face. There is no question that we need to start a “replacement process” for the current GOPe trash ( certainly in the Senate, because we can’t have the President’s judicial nominees held up by them), but there is simply no way to keep Trump’s agenda alive at any level, and go whole hog and kick out the miscreants. At least let’s get past the mid-terms with both Houses still in Republican “hands.” To do anything that would compromise that control would make the next two years worthless in terms of ANY accomplishments, and potentially jeopardize Trump’s 2020 re-election.

Same old play-book every 2yrs. I don’t care WHICH side of the uniparty you’re talking ‘bout.

Oh? Where’s the DIFFERENCE? Over the cliff @ 40, or 60, it’s still OVER the cliff.

Replacement? From the SAME party that let these turds run on in their stead? Party more interested in warm-bodies and tallies on a sheet than their own platform and policies?

They remake the Pinto, who the HELL would buy it again?

HINT: They’re NOT supporting Trumps agenda N-O-W; there’s no ‘majority’ on the right.

Pretty much EVERY accomplishment has been of Trump’s doing. ALONE. Having fewer jack-wagons to fark up D.C. further isn’t going to stop him; but neither will a + on the # count HELP our Republic, they’re not *there* for our Republic, but the Treasury.

Sorry pal, you are a loon! As bad as the GOPe is, they are all that stands between a successful changing of the SCOTUS or not. On that score alone these turds need to be kept on while Trump figures out who to run against them an whom he will campaign actively for.

Our Republic has long been dead. Relying upon the GOPe, on SCOTUS alone, was shown during the Kav. nomination (Flake, Collins...if not how ineffective the ‘leadership’ via Grassley was [how many delays via Ford’s “demands”??)

How ‘bout they do their J-O-B via impeaching judges from ALL levels. SCOTUS isn’t the final arbiter of squat; least of all in our SUPPOSED 3 co-equal branches

Can’t argue with what you say here. A couple of things: With the two new Justices, who seem to have a better work ethic than the rest ( like wanting to pick their own cases to review instead of leaving that job to their clerks as an example), so maybe we can look forward to a SCOTUS that actually does some effective work. They can start with the Second Amendment. The US Senate is a complete abomination as currently staffed. And because of the razor thin GOPe margin, several completely worthless a$$holes ( Murky, Collins, Flake and Corker are the leading a$$holes) if the “leadership” wanted to really do anything, they don’t have enough support to carry it out! But then, Ryan, and until recently McConnell, have done as little as they could to help Trump with his plans and his staffing. We really still have Sessions and Rosenschmeckel because Trump knows that McConnell & Co. wouldn’t “advise and consent” to replacements. Ditto for that useless pr!ck at the FBI, Wray. And don’t get me going on the sloth in the Senate with both the approval of new judges and for getting out all the RAT $hit people in the Administration and getting them replaced with Trump’s nominees,. This bull$hit rule giving each Senator 30 hours of debate on each and every person being confirmed is insane! In truth, the US today, would be far better off if the Senate were just completely removed and replaced with nothing!
At the end of the day, we’re where we are because we don’t vote in decent people! After all, the Republican Party’s doesn’t get to vote in the people they necessarily want, we do. In 2020 and 2022, all the GOPe “dead wood” in the Senate will come up for re-election or replacement. It will be interesting to see if the voters will kick the $hit (like the two worthless turds from North Carolina, Burr and Tillis ) they put into office out on the street in favor of some good Conservatives for a change!
