BOOM! Judge Kavanaugh to Provide Senate With Calendars From Summer of 1982 Showing He Was Out of Town Most of Summer!

Judge Brett Kavanaugh will provide the Senate with calendars from the summer of 1982 to back up his claims he was never at a party described by accuser Christine Ford.
Christine Ford has made an uncorroborated accusation that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her decades ago at a drunken high school pool party that no one else, including the four people she claims were at the party, remembers.
Kavanaugh has categorically denied the allegations and told Senator Orin Hatch (R-UT) last week he wasn’t even at the party in question.
Brett Kavanaugh has calendars from the summer of 1982 showing he was out of town most of the summer vacation or with his parents.
The New York Times reported:
Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh has calendars from the summer of 1982 that he plans to hand over to the Senate Judiciary Committee that do not show a party consistent with the description of his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, according to someone working for his confirmation.
The calendars do not disprove Dr. Blasey’s allegations, Judge Kavanaugh’s team acknowledged. He could have attended a party that he did not list. But his team will argue to the senators that the calendars provide no corroboration for her account of a small gathering at a house where he allegedly pinned her to a bed and tried to remove her clothing.
The calendars show, according to the person working for his confirmation, that he was out of town much of the summer at the beach or away with his parents. When he was at home, the calendars list his basketball games, movie outings, football workouts and college interviews. A few parties are mentioned but include names of friends other than those identified by Dr. Blasey.
A fourth alleged witness in Christine Blasey Ford’s alleged sexual assault accusations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh broker her silence Saturday night and denied the allegations.
Leland Ingham Keyser says she has no recollection of EVER BEING AT A PARTY with Brett Kavanaugh and does not know him.
Ms. Keyser is a lifelong friend of Christine Blasey Ford.

Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley rescheduled the hearing for Thursday to hear testimony from Kavanaugh and Ford.
Christine Blasey Ford’s 11th hour “me too” ambush was a plot by Feinstein and the Democrats to derail Trump’s SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
The libs are mocking this calendar ‘evidence’.
I sure hope it’s something better than, as one poster upthread mentioned, something that looks like they ran out to Goodwill/Ebay and bought and did some quick creative writing.
I hope it is cut in stone, cut and dry note/date keeping. With airline receipts, etc., to back it up.
And, as others have said, make her provide an exact date, or at least week....FIRST!
Agreed, perhaps my post was unclear or misread. I did say "could have happened" rather than happened.

I graduated High School in 1973 ans shortly thereafter joined the Army and rarely came home.
My “good stuff” was boxed up and thrown in the attic while stuff like cloths, etc were donated or thrown away.
20 years after I retired my mom shipped me a big box that had my school yearbooks, Boy Scout stuff and what I now consider junk in it. Still was cool to look through.

I will give serious credence to that line of thinking after Kavanaugh is confirmed, and MAGA candidates win bigly on Election Night 2018.

I am not saying it NEVER happens, but other than my yearbook and my diploma, I couldn’t find you any document, let alone my appointment calendars, from any of my high school or college years....
I understand some people are far more organized and anal retentive than others.... but the idea someone knows and can find an appointment calendar from 40 years ago, is a bit odd to me.
This whole thing is a hit job, and anyone with a few neurons firing knows it at this point... This is going to backfire big time on the Dems, but he Republicans need to man up a bit....

Tampering with Evidence or Withholding evidence should work for starters. How about COLLUSION, also? That would be fitting.....
Agreed, the Dems are grossly overplaying their hand and this hit job is beyond transparent... This is going to most likely fire up a very apathetic non traditional MAGA voters to show up this fall...

Awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.
This circus is fooling no one, and the people its going to fire up, are a largely apathetic group... And if that group awakes, the Democrats go from most likely winning the house, to losing seats in the house.
My only words of advice is the Republicans really need to start leveraging this better... be respectful to the women, but call a spade a spade.... And make sure the public knows that they are basically trying to undo 2016... frame this entire thing in that light... and you will see those non traditional MAGA voters show up en masse...
But if republicans don’t show a backbone in all this, they will risk just as likely as being viewed as spineless by those voters and unworthy of support. Set a deadline and hold it Grassley... If this woman won’t testify under oath, that’s on her... no negotiations... show up and tell your story, or don’t... and vote.
She should be censured immediately, for not reporting this document long ago....
That is purely an internal act, and the Senate should be doing it...
Of course it would be a wedge for the election, so wait until after the election and when the R’s have a 55-58 majority... immediately hold hearings and censure her.

Agreed. If her date runs counter to his records, she is completely discredited (as if she isn't already).
Her charges must be concrete and falsifiable. Kavanaugh has the means to falsify her charges. This will surely discourage her from providing an concrete details. Her account must remain nebulous (without fondation) and therefore not actionable.
Hold the vote.

Republicans are notoriously spineless, but President Trump is not.
Imagine the fiasco if McCain or Romney or even GWB were in the White House now? Kavanaugh would have been dumped long ago.
But Trump is playing this hand all the way. Very inspiring.
