My confidence is rising that the Church will stand up and kick Frankie to the curb.

The chance of that happening is zero. The catholic church is heading the same direction as the Episcopalians and the Anglicans. In the very near future, homosexuality will be embraced as natural and normal. It's been pushed in our schools for decades now, so younger catholics won't see it as any big deal, since their brainwashing is pretty much complete.
