Judge K is the first on a list of many federal judges to be voted on.

This was published earlier with the 5 p.m. deadline. But the ink wasn’t dry before it was 10 p.m. and now extended, by some reports for another 24 hours. Suspect the 10 a.m. hearing is a go if Ford does not agree to testify. Anyway, doubt there was staff on hand this late tonight to update this page. Besides, what do they put? “Maybe.”?

To think I used to believe in our governmental system, now I’m not so sure. Get on with the vote!

My guess is they are going to put a committee vote on Monday with a rider that a full senate vote will be pending a deadline date of the accused (note that the accused should not be glorified by naming her) ....

New “deadline” 2:30pm Saturday to come to terms on her testimony next week. My guess the republicans compromise and get her there some way.

Reports are all over the board tonight. I don’t think anybody knows for sure. What a mess!

That’s good news. Senator Grassley knows his business and I trust him to keep delivering.

Democrats never give up though and will pull another rabbit out of a hat. Use your imagination. It could be anything.

I’m thinking similarly, have this tentatively scheduled incase she won’t testify.

Unless the hearing postponed but they scheduled a full vote out of committee?
So confused! What a freakin cluster.

Moved apparently. The postponed meeting was in the Hart Building. The Executive Meeting in Dirksen. It is on the calendar.

All that may have changed is a chance for Ford to talk, nothing more. I do not think they are moving the goal post again.

“Is this true? I’m confused.”

The problem with politicians that draw red lines and then run away from them is that people - even friends - can't trust them.

Eventually, like right now, we hold them in contempt.

Grassley appears not to have any damn sense.

Hey Senate: folks are getting pissed at your indecision. Have the vote and be done with it. Christine has had way more than enough chances. No more delays. JUST SO IT!!!

Never put your faith in men.

Let alone, men who seek political power.
