I don't believe she is going to testify. If she does, her lawyers need to lose their licenses. To delay is their only option.
Their client will be too traumatized to make the trip. The republicans have been too inconsiderate to her. Her heroic effort was resisted by the evil republicans. Or, something like that.
To get a delay is an extra prize.
If the FBI should commence a background check, it should be on this chick. Wonder how that would go?

If the Republicans tried this exact stunt against a Democrat appointed Supreme Court nominee, you’d see wall-to-wall interviews and stories about Kavanaugh’s wife and daughters, treating them as the greatest Saints and victims the world has ever known. Not to mention all the clerks and former classmates of Kavanagh who vouched for his good name. Joy Behar and Katie Couric will take them all out to dinner. Christine Ford would be treated as a 10 times bigger piece of dirt than Paula Jones ever was.

“Well, Judge Kavannaugh, we know you were somewhere during the 2-3 years between 1982-1984...can you tell us where you were and who you were with every day/night?” “Did you ever attend a party?” “Did you ever have a beer when you were in high school?”
I suppose the only pertinent thing they can ask (imo) is “Did you know this woman, Christine Blasey? (assuming Blasey is her maiden name) and maybe something will spawn from that. (?)
He will say “No I did not”.
