I think they don’t based on what I see going on. The base yes but the office holders not even close.

I suppose the most bewildering and frustrating thing is that all of this was either known in advance or quite predictable.
Lefties may control the media but they don’t control the very active rumor network in DC - news of this almost certainly leaked out long before it was sprung on the GOP.
Almost all the people involved are slow to think and slow to act. Once again we see the danger - tactically and Constitutionally - of allowing incumbents to grow old in office.
‘Nice guy’ just doesn’t cut it. A stock standard plan of defense (ie attack) must be in place at all times along with opposition research.
Really, I think they are just shaking because we the voters have closed off the exits and they can’t escape town.
