Incredible - there is no “rush” toward a hearing other than that created by DiFi sitting on Ford’s letter for two months - had she handled it correctly any investigation they wanted could have been completed long ago - but according to the man who coordinates investigations for the Senate Judicial Committee who appeared on Fox tonight, any investigation done by the FBI would be only to find issues to be “served up” to the Committee - in other words, the FBI finds murky areas which the Committee should be aware of - the Committee itself then explores those areas to determine the facts - the FBI doesn’t come to a determination about the veracity of those people it deals with, that’s up to the Committee - and the issue of Judge Kavanaugh’s possible sexual assault was “served up” by Ford’s letter - QED - no need for the FBI....
Maybe it is speculation that it was associated with Kavanaugh in 2012. But he was floated as the type of Judge that Romney would appoint to SCOTUS, from what I have read.
President Trump could safely order the FBI to investigate; they never obey his orders anyway.
