Washington—Senate Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) today released the following statement on Republican plans to hold a hearing on sexual assault charges against Brett Kavanaugh on Monday with no outside witnesses:
“The decision to come forward or not come forward has always been Christine Blasey Ford’s, and that includes her participation in a hearing.
“I agree with her 100 percent that the rushed process to hold a hearing on Monday has been unfair and is reminiscent of the treatment of Anita Hill. I also agree that we need the facts before senators—not staff or lawyers—speak to witnesses.
“We should honor Dr. Blasey Ford’s wishes and delay this hearing. A proper investigation must be completed, witnesses interviewed, evidence reviewed and all sides spoken to. Only then should the chairman set a hearing date.
“I hope that each and every one of us will immediately denounce the horrific treatment of Dr. Blasey Ford. That this brave woman is receiving death threats and has been forced to flee with her family is appalling and heartbreaking. This abuse must stop. We’re better than this.”

Rush played a soundbite of that true p.o.s. David Gergen today saying “If we rush the process instead of waiting for the FBI to investigate, then we will have Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanaugh, two justices allowed on the Court with sex offender charges hanging over them as they decide on the future of Roe v. Wade. (paraphrased).

At least Anita Hill SHOWED UP and testified, so for that I give her credit..the reason why they don’t want this woman to appear is because they know she is a LIAR..they have known that from the beginning..this is NOT the first time she has accused someone of a crime, supposedly sent a similar letter last year accusing Gorsuch, but hey, Gorsuch was a Scalia/Gorsuch swap so it was no biggie..now the stakes are higher..they know she is a liar but she is their liar now, and they dont want to let this go so they have to defend her at all costs
There were NO WITNESSES! There is no corroboration. The story should have been brought forth a long time ago! On another thread, it was pointed out that the ‘recovered memory’ coincided with the 2012 election, as Romney had floated Kavanaugh’s name for SCOTUS back then. If Romney had won, rest assured this story would have surfaced back then. They didn’t need it until now, but as soon as Kavanaugh’s name came up, good Leftist soldier Dr Ford, sent DiFi the letter. The Left sure does plan ahead! I would really love to know how many ‘recovered memories’ turn out to be true. I bet less than 10%.
