Why feed the ENEMY?
Because Christians can and should pray for and show kindness to enemies, in particular non-Believers. Bringing them out some baked goods shows grace.

This is what Christian’s do..God’s word says to hate the sin, but to love the sinner. It is hard to do that, but she did it because she knows that God has the power in this terrible situation and she trusts Him, and not those who want to be Him.
Jesus said to do so.
Because it, using allegorical language, heaps coals of fire upon their heads.
Because Jesus would approve.
It's called "class". It's rare, so I can understand your concern.

For the most part the technical people behind the camera are not on board with the brainwashed, grasping meatpuppets in front of the camera.
In fact, I know several people who have careers in the industry as technicians, and they see everything, they hear everything, and they know the dirt and who’s carrying water.
I heard stories for years that are common knowledge among the techs.
Years ago none of that stuff ever came out. Today not so much.
So Mrs. Kav is displaying a kindness that the techs appreciate and it comes mostly from the conservatives that they are covering.
I have two standards which I apply to most people And can make a determination on what type of person they are. I didn’t make them up but I have run across them through the years and are a distillation which helps determine a person’s ccharacter. I have read many scriptural verses , philosophical quotes etcetera... but I just don’t have the time to repeat all of that, let alone commit it to memory. So these two factors work for me
One, is how they treat the wait staff (and that includes any number of support people).
And two, whether or not they cheat at golf.
As Catholics we try to help the poor and the sinners.
