>>Top it off with hanging two really big brass balls over the main gate.<<
Man, that is a fantastic idea, and I hope our POTUS confirms the symbolization by approving it. It would be in photographs published by every news agency on the planet and cause the Leftists to go absolutely INSANE!
:))
Be even better if the President announced plans to move all of our European bases to: Hungary, Czech Republic, Austria and, after a lengthy discussion with Salvini, decide to increase our footprint in Southern Italy to help them with their immigration problem. Strictly in an Advisory and Training role.
[I think this is a GREAT idea. Remember Kosciuszko and Pulaski.]
And Sekulovich.
Poland seems like a likeable country.
I agree to some extent about the multiple of troops stationed in now socialist Germany to Poland. However, the Germany Rhein-Main based hospital is THE main source for our injured troops for treatment after triage in country. Such a large an extensive hospital would have to be constructed in Poland. No small expense. Plus, it is further removed from our conflicts in the Middle East. More flight time.
Also, there is the huge Air Base with our aerial assets that we should maintain in central Europe. However, there are hundreds of grunts stationed there that could be re-assigned to Poland if they pay their share of relocation and infra-structure.
It would be a huge undertaking, but I would like to see less cooperation with Germany. Germany is going down with its insane immigration/asylum/refuge policies. It, along with others, are losing their cultures and their socialist leanings are destroying there nationalism. Poland has been steadfast about limiting such.
Germany doesn't charge the U.S because our military personnel provide them good part of their income.
Maybe we stick around so we don't have to go back all over again.
So instead of providing the good part of their income to Poland how about providing it to New York or Georgia or Colorado or Washington?
Actually its the Landstuhl Army Medical Center outside of Kaiserslautern that is the main US hospital in Europe.
Ramstien AFB, also at Kaiserslautern is the largest US airbase in Europe and maybe overseas. Rhien-Main is gone back to the Germans for use by the Frankfurt airport. So keep the presence around Kaiserslautern (Little America) and move the rest to Poland. That keeps a trip wire in Germany to ensure they behave with their neighbors.
Thanks for the correction. I haven't been keeping up our military in Germany. Was it never in Rhein-Main?
Not since my days there in the late 70s and late 80s, early 90s. I recall being there for a visit just before desert storm and seeing beds in the halls, every where getting ready for mass casualties. Its as modern and equipped as any hospital anywhere.
