If these charges against Kavanaugh are so damning as to derail his SCOTUS nomination, then he should be immediately removed from the DC Court of Appeals too, right?
If Kavanaugh is a rapist that makes him unfit for the Supreme Court, shouldn't he be unfit for the court he sits on now?
We should demand that everyone who is questioning Kavanaugh's confirmation publicly state their support for removing Kavanaugh from the DC Circuit Court. If they refuse to do so, they are admitting that the charge against Kavanaugh is not credible.
How can we have one character standard for the Supreme Court, and allow lesser character for the lower courts? It's okay to attempt rape if you're a lower court judge, but that disqualifies you from the Supreme Court?
Either this woman's accusation is credible and Kavanaugh is a danger who must be removed from his current court, or she's not credible and Kavanaugh's confirmation vote proceeds as scheduled. Who is going to go on record to take the destruction of Kavanaugh to the next step based on this one questionable accusation? Their silence on that question should tell everyone all we need to know about what they really think.

She should be subpoenaed to come and testify. She’s made a claim in a Senate proceeding and should be sworn in and give testimony.

Too much rational thought going on on FR these days. The Democrats aren’t think rationally or behaving rationally except for their one objective. They want to save the threatened Democrat Senators who want to avoid a vote to confirm Kavanaugh. Either way that they vote, they will lose. This is all about delaying the confirmation vote until after the midterm election.
If the Democrats get lucky and they gain seats in the Senate, then that’s a bonus, well worth the extra effort. But it they reduce the bleeding in the Senate, then they can continue to obstruct, especially with their stealth Democrats who call themselves Republican. The hearing on Monday is going to be a soap opera and this Democrat activist has been rehearsing her lines for months. They will be fact free and vague, but the emotional strings will vibrate with songs of #MeToo.
