Light of Day: Late Monday POTUS Donald Trump ordered the release of unredacted FISA warrant applications [a]t the request of a number of committees of Congress, and for reasons of transparency, White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced after reports surfaced last month that POTUS was considering doing so.
The documents to be declassified also include 12 FBI reports on interviews with Justice Department official Bruce Ohr and all FBI reports of interviews prepared in connection with all other applications to surveil Carter Page, as Fox News and other outlets reported.
This was a long time coming. House Republicans, especially, have been appealing to the president to order these documents declassified and released in full so the American people can have the opportunity to learn precisely what motivated the Obama administrative Deep State to launch Spygate the operation to put a rival presidential campaign under surveillance.
Former campaign adviser Carter Page became the subject of the surveillance for reasons, we surmise, that had to do with national security, since that is the only way American citizens can be spied upon legally.
Why? Because Russia!

Right there is a lot more to the deep state trying to overturn an election. Domestic spying on political opponents is and should be treated as the worst possible crime. It is far worse than Russian trolls posting advertising on ace Book.
