A traffic warden is living in fear of reprisal after being savagely beaten "for doing his job." Charlie Weston was left lying helplessly on the floor as a group of men repeatedly stamped on his head after he approached a car to give it a ticket. The 21-year-old admits he feels "lucky to be alive" after the ordeal which happened in Birmingham and left his face splattered with blood. He had been inspecting cars in the road for 10 minutes when the incident unfolded. Charlie was kicked in the throat and had his head stamped on before his attackers allegedly fled with his bike. Ex-security guard Charlie believes their motive was to draw blood and has now opened up about surviving the brutal attack which was caught on CCTV. And despite the attack leaving him in hospital for almost four hours, Charlie returned back to work at 10am on Saturday morning determined not to let his team down. Charlie, from Wolverhampton, said: “I didn’t notice people coming up behind me, I just turned and saw a man in a hoody with the cords tightened so I couldn’t see his face.

Who just happened to be the guy these thugs decided to beat up,he was also unarmed at the time of the assault.

Traffic wardens just have a badge, uniform and a violations machine. No guns.

They have them in Australia also. They’d get you for littering if you missed the bucket for some homeless person with a bill and immediately picked it up and dropped it in. They boot emergency vehicles responding to an emergency as well.
I am sure almost all of us have had fantasies...
The traffic warden will probably end up in jail for the hate crime of reporting the event if the perps were ‘Asian youths’.

4 hours? I was in for 9 days with 7 broken ribs and a bruised lung.
One traffic warden in London ticketed a guy for dropping a cigarette butt on the ground; it wasn’t his, it was picked up unknowingly by stepping on it and it came off in front of a a warden - yep - ticket for littering. I have no sympathy for those idiots but then, quota’s.
