I’m pretty sure I was at this party and Kavanaugh was not there.

Because he knows his character. I can say, without a doubt, that I had never been skydiving at any particular time, because I never went skydiving. I can say, without a doubt, that I have never been to a frat party, because I never associated with that crowd. I can say, without a doubt, that I never was in any specific elk hunting party, because I have never hunted elk. I can go on and on.
Kavanaugh may not have known where he was on that unspecified day, but he knows if he ever went to any drinking party or got stinking drunk in high school. There are some high school kids who simply don’t attend parties or drink.

But at what time? This vague accusation is purposefully designed to make any alibi impossible because the year, date and time are unspecified. Therefore, it should not be given any credence.
I on the other hand attended so many in high school, I couldn’t tell you which one was which and when.
But I don't think he said: "I never attended parties of that type"
I believe he said: "I never attended that party."
He also could have said: "I never drank alcohol while in high school"
We will see how this plays out and if successful a lot of people, will be very angry.
Brett Kavanaugh is a principled, thoughtful conservative -- ergo, he must have done Something Bad (TM) long ago. I seriously fear what would happen if the Demoncrats managed to make this sort of low tactic succeed. They'd essentially be saying that no conservative justices will pass muster. Only extreme leftism is acceptable.
That's a flat-out declaration of war. I could easily see tens of thousands of armed Americans finally taking the war directly to the far-left enemy in sheer anger at the pure evil of trying to destroy a decent, very competent Supreme Court justice with unprovable allegations from decades ago.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for quick dismissal of these latest false accusations and rapid approval of Justice Brett Kavanaugh for the October Supreme Court docket.
Wow, awesome memory! We have the memories, after half a century. As the saying goes, "if I knew then what I know now". I would have been bolder. Not that I would take advantage of a gal, but I wouldn't have been so hesitant to pursue relationships with some beauties.
I remember spending the evening at the ocean beach with a gal I met the week before, and we woke to a beautiful sunrise. Just kissing, no sex, and friendly talking. She was on vacation with family, and left shortly after, never saw her again. Treasure those good memories. Been happily married near 50 years and never mentioned those times to my wife, some things we keep to ourselves.
