I have to say, Lindsey has been a nice surprise these last few months. She’s been solid.

Agree. What we’ve heard so far is certainly not enough to alter the affirmation schedule.

I wish he would highlight the blatant hypocrisy of the democrats complaining about the white house withholding documents, then they withhold this document.

The one GREAT unasked question is:

What is the statue of limitations for this non-crime? More and 35 years?

If this woman wants to make this claim then lets apply the full constitutional protections. Otherwise it is another “high tech lynching” to quote the defendant the last time it was used!

Good. They also need to interview the other guy she named in the letter who said it never happened and some of the 65 women who went to that school with the accuser who all said that was not in his character

Lindsey has played golf with President Trump but he still visited the jihadists in Syria the other month.

I still think he’s a McCainiac in many ways.

No woman will ever come forward with stories like this about Graham from high school.

The Committee statement is right on point.
Especially with the vetting he has gone through, his actual public record, and the last minute lateness of this accusation.
The Democrats are swine. That may be an insult to swine.

Feinstein forgot to mention it. She drank too much Nyquil.

Lindsay Graham has actually had some common sense recently..I guess since McCain is dead Graham doesn’t have to be his puppet anymore. Everyone with an IQ over 5 knows this story is PURE BS. She has EVERY motive in the world to lie..she isn’t some sweet innocent flower who has come out of the woodwork..she has an AGENDA..she is a far left activist who voted for Hillary Clinton, went to the woman’s march with a “Pussy Hat” on..gave 26 different donations to Democrats and signed a letter denouncing Trump’s immigration policies. If Republicans fall for this BS and cower like weak lil pricks they deserve to lose everything

As the committee letter says, they had months to bring this up.

We should demand the vote proceed and crucify any Repub who flinches.

Well, if Ms Ford accepts, I guess we know who's going to be running for Congress next from California.

What on earth could the committee possibly learn from her? ‘Umm, yeah, it happened, totally.’ ‘I see. And we have a statement from (long list of people) saying it never happened the way you described it.’ ‘They're all lying...’

Yep, there's nothing that comes from summoning a California Democrat to testify before the committee about allegations which, if every single aspect were absolutely true, would have no bearing on the nomination, unless you're contemplating the probative value of examining underage drinking in the 1980’s...

I'm sure that Graham was assured there was no chance of her being called before the committee before posting that, lovely cover for those who might be ‘enraged’ about ‘not hearing her story.’ Yeah, we'll hear it, over and over and over again for the next couple weeks, each re-telling coming with new memories of that horrible event that derailed her from becoming, whatever, and instead becoming an university professor.

Anyone laying Odds at which way Collins and Murkowski will Vote since this came out?

This is what happens when you have a razor thin Majority. One GOP Senator gets an attack of the Vapors and that’s that.

This is their modus operandi with everyone we put forward.

If you think, dang, we should pick someone with less baggage, you’re fallen into a trap because no matter who you pick, if you pick Mother Theresa, they will have oppo research in their back pockets to spring at the worst moment. Doesn’t have to be true, it usually isn’t true, but its what they do.

They need to ignore this and proceed to a vote. And God help any Repub who doesn’t stand up for Kavanaugh.

If Ford doesn't produce any evidence or believable witnesses in the next day or two, then Kavanaugh's nomination should go through. If it turns out later that Ford is right then impeach, try and remove Kavanaugh from the court.

I personally put no weight on Ford's accusation since she can't seem to remember how many "attackers" were involved, it is long past the statute of limitations and Feinstein sat on the evidence for so long.

And as a little bit of extra punishment, McConnell should hold the Senate in session for as long as necessary to handle this.

this is extremely good news, and is actually quite a powerful statement ... this statement puts the ball totally back into the court of the smear merchants and has given them a very small amount of time to either put up or shut up ... Graham is showing real leadership on this issue by stepping up to the plate before any other GOP Senators join in Flake’s gutless waffling ... it puts the other GOP Senators on notice that a solid tactic is in place to put the smear merchants in their place and that essentially they waffle at their own peril ...

Graham seems to be coming through more and more lately, greatly surprising me ... perhaps he’s smart enough to figure out that the Trump Effect is real, is very powerful, and has accomplished more than all the rest of the GOP put together since Ronald Reagan left office ...

Don’t worry, more Leftist women will jump on the bandwagon. By the end of this coming week expect two or three more accusers. Truth means nothing, nowadays.
