So why don't the elites lead the way and give up their private jets, Hummers and limos, and mansions that are measured in acres? Oh wait. I must have eaten stupid pill for breakfast. It is only us peons that must sacrifice.

at one point science said the world was flat, humans could not go faster than 60mph, and that if we were meant to fly, we’d have wings.

Consider all of the wasted resources used to make movies.

Consider all of the casting couch events that have happened...and still happen.

Consider the glorification of violence in hollywierd movies.

Consider the demonization of the family and anything that is decent by hollywierd.

And they consider "fly over" Americans the problem.

Gasp!
I guess my plethora of experience in that “science” stuff doesn’t count.
But the ideas of a high school eddikated “aktor” does count.
Funny also that my high school only father was quite adept at finding the flaws in arguments. Climate “science” has so many that one needs a calculator to keep track.

I agree with him, but I don’t think the word “science” means what he thinks it does. He confuses enviornmental pseudoscience and alarmism with objectively developed science.

I would love to see a scientist that can view the world in episodes longer than 100 years.

They would tell you that our atmosphere is cyclical based on a lot of things: The sun cycles, the movement of the continents, and the natural thermostat that regulates the world.

Nature compensates. But like any other analog system, it sometimes over compensates one way or the other.

Now, if a scientist wants to have a conversation about carbon emissions, they should look at where the largest problem lies. And its not the US.

Anyone who does the smallest bit of PDCA operations, they will tell you to start fixing things where the problem occurs most often. That is not the US.

We could stop all carbon emmissions and the impact would be nominal for years.

Cleaning up rivers and lakes, and cutting down on pollution is always a good thing. But the approach needs to be objective and honest. The approach idiots like Harrison Ford take is neither.

Stop giving power to people who think you can change the climate by raising taxes and handing out massive fines.

Says a play actor who’s done nothing but live in a make believe fantasy most of his life, who is now telling everyone else how they should think and live.

Insane!

Perhaps Ford should recognize that his piloting skills of recent years do not comport with the science of safe powered flight???

people who don't believe in science

When it's 'settled', those are precisely the one's he's unintentionally referencing.

The entire future of humanity is at stake now? Science says we’re all going to be wiped out unless we pay our carbon taxes??
