Absolutely. Only a person who has lived there and/or has family there comprehends the magnitude of the local govt’s inefficiency and corruption.

Saludos!

Last night I spoke with my son who lives directly south of San Juan. He says big corporations are doing a lousy job of providing PR with things they want to buy. Apparently they are sending the same seasonal supplies they send to their mainland stores. THey are loosing money for their incompetence. For example, Burlington Coat Factory is sending winter coats for a tropical island instead of good rain coats. Home Depot is stocking a very inadequate array of electrical goods. My son does electrical repair work and generator installations. He is very frustrated. So if you have corporate contacts who do national business, tell them to get their head out of their xxxes and use their brains when shipping seasonal goods to PR.
