If that were true, the Dems wouldn't have lost more than 1,400 races since 2010, and Trump wouldn't be president now.

The Democrat party may be moving left, but the country as a whole is moving right.

i hope you are correct, especially this November...my concern is the GOTV enthusiasm, unlike 2010/2014 when we in the Tea Party pushed and pushed and pushed, i see the GOP being a drag on our chances this year...

I don’t know if the country is moving right, as much as its really not moving at all... while the Democrats have moved left at Mach 3.
