No smog testing here in SE Missouri. The difference, though, between what you deal with now and what could happen, is they will make the smog tests impossible to pass—with no grandfathered provision for really old vehicles.
They have forced a lot of old off the road here, but you are correct... currently if you have a car more than 25 years old you do not have to get them emissions tested anymore.
