Well I will just take a wait and see stance instead of arguing about it... The way I understand it is that is the whole point of Huber, to NOT prosecute in DC... time will tell though.
RINO Senator Orrin Hatch convinced Trump not to fire Huber in 2017.
When Trump nominated Huber for a new four year term, not one Senate Democrat voted against Huber.
The idea that Huber has empaneled a secret Grand Jury in Utah is delusional.
Every potential crime took place in Washington D.C.
Every potential Democrat defendant lives in or near Washington D.C.
No Democrat defendant will ever voluntarily agree to a trial outside the jurisdiction where the crimes took place and where they live.
“The way I understand it is that is the whole point of Huber, to NOT prosecute in DC.”
That pesky 6th ammendment begs to differ. The one that says,
“In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation...”
Huber CAN’T prosecute ANYONE outside his jurisdiction (Utah), and the 6th specifically states the jurisdiction must be established ahead of the “cdime.” So Congress (AG, courts) can’t just modify a different jurisdiction after the fact to go after a crime already committed.
Period.
