The Department of Justice arrested an Indian CEO when he flew into Sea-Tac airport and charged him with using the H-1B visa-worker program to “compete unlawfully in the market.” The secret investigation and arrest highlight what critics say is endemic fraud and corruption in the Indian-dominated H-1B visa-worker program. The two fraudulent companies are located in Bellevue and Redmond, WA - literally, the heart of Microsoft country, and just five miles from Amazon HQ and the University of Washington.

For those who don't know, USA universities can hire an unlimited number of H-1Bs, with no quota. However, this article does not implicate or even mention the UW.

Here is the link to the DOJ summary of the criminal complaint:

H1B needs to end and send all H1B workers and their families home. Immediately. Free these jobs up for Americans.

This is a good article and should remind us all that members of Congress pushing to continue and even increase these several visa programs are committing treason against the American people.

H1B workers are also exploited by the system. In most cases they want to get green cards and work their way toward becoming American citizens. However, the system can work such that the companies they work for never get around to completing the paperwork before they are laid off and then have to start from square one at a new company.

It would be best to completely get rid of the H1B and all similar programs. Instead we should do what other countries do and limit legal immigration through a point system. That way qualified people from around the world who can fill a REAL need will be able to come to America knowing they are on a path to citizenship.

They won't be taking jobs away from Americans because they will have to be paid and treated just like citizens and not like the indentured servants they currently are.

The SJWs who run the tech companies will have to start behaving like true SJWs and pay all of their employees fairly.

Hillary promised unlimited H1-b visas. I am in IT, and as far as I can tell, I am the only one in my part of the company to vote for Trump.

Re: “Who would fardels bear”

I had to look up the meaning of your screen name.

Incredibly, I have read “Hamlet” twice, and I have read the soliloquy itself at least two more times (although at least 40 years ago), but I have ZERO memory of ever seeing “fardels bear,” and I had no idea what “fardels” meant!

For those who are interested: “fardels” means “burdens,” and Hamlet is asking what human being would ever bear the great burdens of life if we were not afraid of death and what might be waiting for us after death.

This fraud by people from India is nationwide. It’s not confined to the Seattle area.

I can attest to the allegations and charges of this story.

And it’s not just H1-B, it is also in any programs where high salaries attract tech-savvy persons.

India is a nation of about 2 billion people. About 5% of them are 1st world educated or about 100 million persons. Of these, there are some millions that can compete with anyone in terms of tech ability but the high salaries are here in the USA and this is where they target.

It’s all about money.

Once they slip in and grab high paying jobs, they ‘cluster’ meaning they promote each other and form a chain-promotion so that entire groups within a company can be staffed by nothing but persons from India.

It’s the money that attracts,

A six-figure salary in the states is like an eight-figure salary in India.

good post. explains succinctly how the uni-party pols used no skill, cheap labor in a gov’t program to create massive crony-capitalist profit for doing basically nothing, while setting them up to destroy the foundation of organically grown American know-how, all in one fell swoop.

The arrest of the Asian Indian CEO is interesting by itself.

The CEO bolted from the USA in April 2018, which is when the Feds began to question his bogus business clients, at least one of whom declared that he had no idea who the CEO was.

Presumably, the CEO returned to India for five months.

The criminal complaint and indictment were “sealed,” in other words, kept secret, so it’s not clear if the Feds induced him to come back, or if he thought he was in the clear, or if he just stupidly walked into the waiting arms of the FBI.

India population is about 1.3 billion - much more than I thought, I admit. But still short of 2 billion. I thought it was around 700 million until I looked it up. Seems high, because 1.3 billion is pretty close to the same number as China.

Since 2014, Samal’s two companies have asked for roughly 700 H-1B visas and six green cards, according to MyVisaJobs.com. The 700 requests are likely to have gotten 200 visas for foreign workers who can be subcontracted at very low rates out to other technology firms in the Seattle area. One of the companies, Divensi, says it has worked with Amazon, Alaska Airlines, Microsoft, Physicians Interactive, Tesla, Nordstrom and the University of Washington.

Thank you Jeff Sessions...

Wanna bet some of them have made it all the way into the Federal apparatus...and may even be pulling the strings that
drive this program from Capitol Hill and Congress?
