Memories of Vietnam. There may be Freeper USMC veterans who remember the battle of Khe Sahn and remember some of these locations in Nam. Or, you may have friends who will remember Khe Sahn.
One of my bosses had been at Khe Sanh.
Our bosses liked to give him the difficult and sometimes dangerous assignments, on the theory that after experiencing Khe Sanh nothing here stateside would rattle him.
We had another supervisor, of Cambodian extraction, who had lived through Pol Pot’s killing fields. Absolutely nothing that happened at work stressed him out.
